This is the Weather report which I sent from research of a number of weather charts..........the storm which was above them and indicated a movement toward the NW - where it is now - must have dropped down creating the brief heavy weather which they experienced!!!!
The weather chart below is this morning's which shows how the storm has moved SE but the 72 hour report shows this storm will be moving well to the NW of them........!

South westerley direction - winds NE but looks variable with gentle breezes

Winds mainly from NE 25 knts in the N 10-15 knots in the block which centers around 5degN 85 deg W
72 hours
Winds NE 10 - 15 knts wave height 6 - 7 ft
Waves from the NE 6 secs near the coast going to 9 sec near Galagapos
In short the Rhum line seems the best option with the winds from the NE......10-15 knots but petering out as you approach Galapagos
