Going to TUAMOTUS

Pos at 8.30pm local time

Just to let you know that we left Fatu Hiva at 7am this morning and are sailing to the Tuamotus (470 nm). Averaged about 7 knots today. We're heading for Faaite in the Tuamotus. NOO: Please can you do a tropical storm check. We got a message from Odyssey about something heading towards the Gambier islands.
Feels like we are right back on the bloody Marquesas crossing...nearly lost our Spinnaker just after sunset. It got all squally and the wind was all over the place. No autopilot. The boys are steering 4 hours on, 4 hours off. Our autopilot was sent to Tahiti and apparently it is nearly fixed and will be waiting for us on our arrival.
VERY SAD to leave Fatu Hiva (Bay of Virgins). The most beautiful island we have ever seen! We made it up to the waterfall with both kiddies. Hiked for about 3 hours. Our boat is loaded with limes, papayas, grapefruit, mangos and bananas...all of which we picked. The mango trees are huge. Deon....you would salivate over all the lime trees.
Gid steering. I'm off to bed.
Lots of love
