End of Day 9
We are anchored in Aipa Harbour , Western Samoa. As we approached the harbour at 9 pm a rain squall came through with 40 knots of wind. Had to slow down and wait for it to pass. This storm just does not want to let up. Earlier on today shimmi did a forced gybe with preventer ON. 12mm barber hauler rope snapped. Barber hauler block nearly nailed Kahlil as it flew past. But we sorted it out, it ripped one of the side screens in half in the process, luckily that was the only damage. We are all beyond tired, we are going to sleep like the dead.
In Josh's world Western Samoa is called "Toy Island", being site of the world's biggest and best toy shop. If they don't have a toy shop here I am so screwed.
Sorry about this disjointed mail but i think I am hallucinating.
Cheers
