Hi Trevor,
We are here, it’s a bit like being in a clean Indonesian main street with palm trees.
The surfboards are being freighted as we speak to arrive on Thursday morning in Savusavu c/o Shimmi as the twin otter won’t take the boards.
Liz has been amazing and is a bit tired now. She is fast making friends with custom officials in the southern hemisphere and educating me on the benefits of additional bags as you never know when you just might need a stripey ( Those large plastic zip bags you see on the top of a i-taxi – ed)
Another ed's note:
They were freeking out with the shopping list of stuff to bring, like paddles, spares, medical supplies, toys for the kids, even had to get them a new toilet seat....it's amazing what a good fart after eating too many beans can do to the loo!
Hooray for a surfboard bag!!!!!
They fly from here to Savusavu to meet Shimmi in a small Island hopper plane - oh Hum!
